How It Began

The 365 Family began as a tugging on my heart over 12 years ago, although I didn’t know what it would look like at the time, and never imagined it would play out in the form of a blog!   

I began to see so many needs not only in my own life but in those around me and as the devastating effects of my mom’s newly paralyzed condition and me as her caregiver and how that affected our family life started to take its toll.  The Lord put on my heart a strong desire to reach out and help others that needed specific help in distressing situations. 

At first, I thought it would look like one thing, and then another and over the course of the years as The Lord kept massaging the love for this “reaching out” into my heart, He finally made a path that although strange and unbeknownst to me, He apparently wanted me to travel down.  Hence the reason we are here right now writing this disclosure policy to this little blog called The365Family.com. 

This has been in the works as far as actual technical behind the scenes working on it and learning for the past year and in my heart for the past 12 years. 

In order to keep all this great content coming to you at no charge to you, there are ways in which I am compensated.  You are paid for your job aren’t you?  This is just my way of being paid for mine.  This is just a simple explanation of how and why I am compensated so that you understand it fully and there is no misunderstanding between us, ok?

With the running of this blog there are many ongoing expenses including but not limited to: hosting fees, domain name ownership, digital design software fees, blog design, my own time and those who help me, and so much more. 

I had no idea until i dove deep into this blogging world over a year ago how much is truly involved and how much work there really is to go get and I am happy to do that for y’all because it truly has been a calling the Lord placed on my heart as a way to serve and encourage yall.

My Opinions and Reviews

First off, we are just a family with our own opinions and ideas and you should decide for you what works for you and your family.  We are passionate about being honest and won’t stand for anything less than being 100% upfront and truthful. Whether in our everyday lives, or here on this blog, honesty is a non-negotiable.

We will never bring you anything that we don’t see as an actual valid simple solution that can encourage and edify you in your everyday life as it has for our family for quite a while.  We are not new to this research and discover the best thing realm, as that has been how we have figured out so many things in these different areas.  

One thing I will not do, EVER, is compromise my honesty or integrity or character.  I will always be honest and thorough with my opinion and reviews, and will even let you know if down the road my opinion or review changes from what it originally was and why that is the case.

Life is too short to short change others because in the end, all that will matter is how we treated each other.  I can’t take it with me, so no amount of money is worth tarnishing my character and reputation. 

Most of the things I will be recommending to you here have been in our family’s daily lives for quite a long time, long before this blog venture ever saw the light of day in my heart.  If it is here on our blog, you can guarantee that is only because it is something we personally believe in and have seen great benefits from it in our own lives and hope you see the same as well.

Product Reviews

I will do product reviews when it is something we are super passionate about and feel you could benefit from it as well! I will never give a review or word a review in a way other than exactly how I SEE IT…period.  If I rave about it and am crazy about it, that is truly because I am crazy about it.  I am my own person with my own thoughts and it is imperative to me that above all else my readers trust not only me but my ethics and know that my word is my word…end of story.  It will be MY WORDS, MY THOUGHTS, and MY OPINIONS! I will tell you about awesome stuff we love and use in our lives regardless if we are compensated for it or not, so don’t think for a moment that just because we are compensated for it that somehow sways our opinion as it simply never could! 

Affiliate Marketing

Just as is above with the product reviews, I will also say the same thing about affiliate marketing.  Affiliate marketing simply means there is something we are passionate about and pass it along to you and if you buy it through our site, then we will receive some commission for telling you about it, but here’s the awesome part….AT NO EXTRA COST TO YOU! 

Again, I will tell y’all about awesome stuff regardless, if I make money for telling you about it or not.

I will also TURN DOWN any affiliate marketer or possibility if it is something I don’t believe in or recommend, no matter what the compensation or commission would be. 

I will bring you all the awesomeness we know about, and sometimes we will get paid for that and that’s about the size of it. 

Most of these companies are ones that we have loved and used LONG before our journey into the blogging world. 

The ones we have stumbled upon since then are ones that we have figured out by trial and error and only chose the best of the best that are the simplest to use for most anyone and thereby decided it meets the cut for us to recommend.

As our lives are always and ever-evolving just as is yours, we hope the list continues to grow because that means we are as well.  As we grow and change and learn, so will come more recommendations that we will hopefully discover and find benefit in our daily lives.
